Coburg Special Development School

The dynamic school, situated in the inner north region of Melbourne, has been built on a new site to cater for additional students in a more stimulating environment.

The purposeful design allows the school to expand their innovative programs to benefit both students and teachers. The open, flexible and engaging learning spaces give teachers new ways to assist the students' learning styles. The increased number of students and the new location of the school allows further connections to be made with other local schools and families.

The upgrade included two new double-storey buildings with classrooms, art, science and food technology facilities and fitness rooms. New playgrounds with accessible play equipment for students of all abilities have also been created.
