La Trobe Private Hospital
We worked to bring the old hospital back to life with all new services across three levels including four operating theatres, recovery bays, a sterile store, consulting suites and a commercial kitchen

Our design works included a new generator, main switchboard, uninterruptible power supply and medical gas systems.
Located within La Trobe University’s health precinct at their Bundoora campus, the hospital provides surgical services in Melbourne’s growing northern suburbs. Healthscope and La Trobe University opened the 34-bed hospital to focus on orthopaedics, general surgery, plastic surgery and urology; providing patient care, research and education.
Alchemy Construct won in the Adaptive Use category at the 2024 Australian Institute of Building Awards. The project was awarded for building excellence and we are proud to have provided the construction phase documentation and site support.
